MASDAC Church Club
MASDAC Pathfinders & Adventurers Club
MASDAC Pathfinder Club
Pathfinders is packed with fun, social and practical life skills learning experience to discover the wonders of God’s created world. It is opened to children from 10 years of age and above and meet once a month. Activities include learning survival skills, engaging lessons in crafts, hobbies and camping craft to enable them to enjoy and discover the great outdoors.
Lessons are taught by qualified volunteers and the focus is on developing leadership qualities, teamwork, a Christian spirituality and an awareness in the joy of serving others. Parents and church members are encouraged to join in the activities to break the ‘Generation Gap’ where young and old work and play together to form a bond.
On completion of each year’s activities children will receive an achievement award along with honour badges as a great reminder of all the activities they have participated in and the lessons they have learned during the year.

MASDAC Adventurer Club
Adventurers is the “younger brother” version of Pathfinders and aims to strengthen the parent/child relationship to enhance the child’s development in spiritual, mental, physical and social skill areas. Children are the church’s greatest resource; hence it is imperative to bring them up in the right habits, thoughts, motives, character and attitudes. It is opened to children from 4 to 9 years of age (we have 3 years old joining the club) and meet once a month. Activities include music, parade and uniform, reciting the Adventurer Pledge and Law and prayer followed by an activity-based progressive age-appropriate class.
Lessons are taught by qualified volunteers with WWCC and provide a safe place for children. The focus is to provide a Bible-based learning and new skills for children. Adventurers are also invited to join the Pathfinders on certain camps so that they will learn and develop simple survival skills.
On completion of each year’s activities children will receive award badges as a great reminder of all the activities they have participated in and the lessons learned during the year. The children will look forward with anticipation to some day of being a Pathfinder.
